Mahatma Gandhi once said "I object to violence because when it appears to do good is only temporary, the evil it does is permanent." This means violence does as much good as it does bad. Gandhi is right when he says this violence is a bad thing and his right. This is clearly seen in Invasion
by Walter Dean Myers. When 29th stormed the beaches most of the men dead. There three things about this death, fear, and shock

I am Josiah Wedgewood

I am United States soldier
I wonder what is it like in Africa
I hear the about how Patton is driving across Africa beating back the Nazis
I see only ships siting the harbor
I want to get to the fight
I am Unitied States soldier

I pretend like I'm apart of something
I feel like I'll never going to see battle
I touch everything I see thinking I'll never return
I worry about Marcus Perry is alive where is he
I cry every night not because I miss home it's for the soldiers that come in who a wournded or dead
I am Infantry soldier

I understand why we wait the Nazis have huge wall on the French coast
I say the war will be over before we leave
I dream about returning home
I try to forget about the dead soldiers I saw
I hope of seeing my mom again
I am just a man

Violence

I choose  this book because it shows how a unit works together survive D-Day and shows how to men different in skin color but are still friends in the middle of this war and to return to home alive in a war where the enemy has more troops than they do and a strong foot hold in France.

  HERO

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles” – Christopher Reeve (“Superman”)

What he is saying here is that a hero someone who finds a way to move forward no matter how big the obstacles that are against the.

I agree with him on this because a hero someone who can overcome the obstacles of life, not someone who has super strength or can fly or see through walls or have lasers that shot out of their eyes

In my life I have seen heroes all over the place probably the most are Navy Seals who in BUD/s training they are taught how overcome being tried, or complete and udder muscle frailer. Then in the teams on missions they have to overcome over willing  numbers of enemies or that a helicopter went down or they lost a team mate.
